Skiarea Ciampedie

Skiarea Ciampedie

Ciampedie is the kingdom of children!

Rosegarten

A lovely natural terrace located at an altitude of 2000 m a.s.l. offering a stunning view on Val di Fassa and Dolomites: from Sassolungo, Sella, Marmolada, Gran Vernel, to the peaks of Costabella, Buffaure, Monzoni and Vallacia, all the way to the mountain groups of Latemar, Pale di San Martino and Lagorai which are visible in the distance. The Catinaccio Massif, also called Rosegarten (garden of roses), is immediately recognizable thanks to the renowned silhouette of the Vajolet Towers. "Ciampedie" literally means "Field of God" and the name really suits the location the best, as you will actually feel as you were in a little corner of paradise.

Skiarea

Ciampedie Ski-area offers more than 14 km of slopes. It can be easily reached by taking Catinaccio cable car in Vigo di Fassa or by means of a two-seater chairlift departing from Pera di Fassa. The ski-area is especially designed to meet families’ needs. It is thus equipped with a Kinderpark managed by our Ski School, where kids can have fun on snow in complete safety. Thoeni Slope is as much exciting as challenging: 4,5 km of thrilling downhill coming down from Ciampedie to Vigo di Fassa’s village. More demanding skiers can sink their teeth into the black slope dedicated to Alberto Tomba. Not by chance, the world famous downhill skiing champion used to train at Campedie, making his fans as well as ski-enthusiasts very happy.

In this fascinating landscape the Ski School organizes collective courses and private lessons, both for children and adults. For all our little guests who want to learn how to ski there is a lovely park with various attractions including: inflatables, swings, slides and rubber rink.

Ciampedie, a unique, fantastic, extraordinary panorama over the Fassa Valley and the Dolomites.
